Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 June 2026
This site, rayanazhari.co.uk ("the site"), is operated by Rayan Azhari ("I", "me", "my"). This policy explains what personal data the site collects, why, and your rights under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR.
What I collect
- Newsletter and report downloads. If you subscribe to the newsletter or download a gated report, your name and email address are collected and stored by Brevo, along with which report you requested.
- Contact form. If you message me, your name, email address and message are sent to my inbox via Resend.
- Analytics. With your consent, Google Analytics collects usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser) using cookies. Aggregate, cookieless traffic is also measured by Vercel Analytics.
- Server logs. As with any website, the hosting provider (Vercel) processes technical data such as your IP address and browser for security and delivery.
Why, and the legal basis
- To send the newsletter and deliver requested reports, on the basis of your consent (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To respond to your enquiries, on the basis of my legitimate interest in replying to you.
- To understand how the site is used, analytics cookies load only with your consent; aggregate cookieless measurement relies on legitimate interest.
- To keep the site secure and available, legitimate interest.
Cookies
The site sets analytics cookies (Google Analytics) only after you accept them via the cookie banner. You can decline, and you can change your mind by clearing the site's data in your browser. The site does not require cookies to function; Vercel Analytics is cookieless.
Who processes your data
Your data may be processed by the providers below, acting as my processors. They may store or transfer data outside the UK/EEA under appropriate safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or EU Standard Contractual Clauses):
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), newsletter and download sign-ups.
- Resend, contact-form email delivery.
- Google Analytics (Google), analytics, with consent.
- Vercel, hosting and cookieless analytics.
I do not sell your personal data.
Retention
I keep newsletter and contact data only as long as needed for the purpose, or until you ask me to delete it or you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's default settings.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, use the contact page. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
I may update this policy from time to time; the date above shows the latest version.
