كيف يسافر الرقم
يتتبّع الفصل الثاني ثلاثة أرقام إلى الوراء حتى الوثائق التي جاءت منها. وكل واحد منها مرسوم هنا سلسلةً، الأقدم أولاً، تبيّن ما فعلته كل وثيقة بالرقم: أبقته كاملاً، أو تحفّظت عليه، أو قرّرته بلا تحفّظ، أو قصّت النطاق إلى طرف واحد، أو أسقطت التحفّظ الذي جاء معه.
كامل، بنطاقه أو تحفّظهبتحفّظ أو محلّ نزاعمقرَّر بلا تحفّظ، أو جزء جُعل الكلّرقم أدنى بكثيررقم يبدو هو نفسه وليس كذلكلا رقم، أو غير محفوظة
لا يُرسم سهم بين وثيقتين إلا حيث يذكر الفصل الصلة. وحيث لا يستطيع إثبات صلة، لا يُرسم شيء، وهذا جزء مما تبيّنه السلسلة. وتبقى أسماء الوثائق والأرقام كما تطبعها، بلغتها الأصلية.
