Also, undated: 'وأن إنتاج سوريا كان يبلغ نحو 140 ألف برميل نفط يومياً' and 78 oil fields; gas 'من نحو 6 ملايين متر مكعب إلى 8 ملايين متر مكعب', need 24 million, purchases 6.3 million a day (Chapter 8's subject, not printed here). REPORTED SPEECH, not a direct quotation; the measure is 'domestic production of oil', not crude; no method, source, geography or period beyond the present tense. WHAT PROSE MAY SAY: that on 20 September 2026 the minister told the Assembly, as SANA reported, that domestic oil production is 112,000 barrels a day. WHAT IT MAY NOT SAY: that production rose from the 13 September 100,000 (SRC-608, SRC-609), or any comparison with OILPROD-001, OILPROD-003 or the 140,000; the book sets the two statements side by side, dated, and joins neither to any figure.
