- READ AT PARA 67 ON 20 OCTOBER 2026 (R8): 'Contracting in local currency will be limited under the proposed Project, mitigating the risks related to inflation and depreciation ... nearly all resources are expected to be disbursed directly to international contractors in foreign currency.' The PAD frames this as protecting the project from Syrian inflation; any link to exchange-rate pressure is the author's. Distinct from SRC-524, the appraisal-stage PID for the same project.
