This column said [quotation withheld, 11 words; follow the citation] and that is FALSE OF THE MANUSCRIPT: the approved introduction names the Douma teachers Alaa al-Khamooneh and Adnan Alwan at its line 69, reported on rather than speaking, and the author's brother Hasan at line 59, who is present in Chapter 1 without being named, at سجلّ عمل داخلي line 229, 'One of the dead was my brother.' [CORRECTED 2 SEPTEMBER 2026 ON F2 OF THE SPECIALIST-QUESTIONS v2 DIFF REVIEW, AND THE REVIEWER'S EVIDENCE FOR IT IS REFUTED AT THE FILE. This cell read 'carried into Chapter 1', which in a row about NAMED individuals invites the reading that Chapter 1 names him; it does not. THE REVIEWER'S STATED GROUND WAS THAT 'Chapter 1 v31 contains neither Hasan nor brother', AND THAT IS FALSE: line 229 of v31, and of v30 and v29 at the same line, reads 'One of the dead was my brother.' The finding is right on the imprecision and wrong on the evidence, and both halves are recorded because a finding that fails verification is recorded as refuted with its basis rather than quietly accepted.] THE GROUND THE PROJECT ACTUALLY USED IS NARROWER AND IS TRUE, at سجلّ عمل داخلي line 27: [quotation withheld, 10 words; follow the citation]. THAT IS FALSE OF THE APPROVED MANUSCRIPT: سجلّ عمل داخلي line 217 has the Commission of Inquiry finding reasonable grounds to believe war crimes were committed by government forces and tribal fighters, and سجلّ عمل داخلي line 97 has armed groups refusing to let students leave. The prose removed the same clause at سجلّ عمل داخلي as false, so this cell said true where the basis and the prose said false. THE HAZARD IS THE ONE THIS CELL WAS WRITTEN TO GUARD AGAINST: it was open twice on 2 September, and the second opening added a fresh unmarked falsehood while the cell warned against the first. WHAT SURVIVES: no conduct allegation is made against a living named individual, verified by the reviewer on a per-name sweep of twenty-eight named individuals across all thirteen approved chapters and the front and back matter.] That report's list of seven is of people against whom a conduct allegation could arise, not a census of everyone the book names, and the struck sentence read it as a census. AQ-30 of 2 September 2026 recorded that this column was false and that amending it is a correction pass; this is that amendment. Permissions are a separate Gate 8 limb and remain open. [CORRECTED 2 SEPTEMBER 2026 ON V2 OF THE SAME REVIEW. This sentence read [quotation withheld, 14 words; follow the citation], which contradicted this row's own header, satisfied as to content, and the prose, which disposes of right of reply. IT IS STALE SINCE سجلّ عمل داخلي, which discharged right of reply. The reviewer checked the institutional half rather than assuming that report had been applied and found the statement carried in all four adverse-finding chapters, at سجلّ عمل داخلي line 233, سجلّ عمل داخلي line 425, سجلّ عمل داخلي line 321 and سجلّ عمل داخلي line 201. PERMISSIONS ALONE REMAIN OPEN, and they are AQ-30.]
AMENDED 2 SEPTEMBER 2026 ON L-01 OF THE EXTERNAL EDITORIAL REVIEW AND D-166 DECISION 3. TWO ATTRIBUTED ADVERSE CHARACTERISATIONS ARE RECAST OUT OF THE PROSE AND NO MEDIA-LAW READ WAS OBTAINED. The first is at سجلّ عمل داخلي line 165, an outlet's statement that two named money transfer companies, Al-Haram and Al-Fouad, have longstanding ties to the former Assad regime; recast at v46, which keeps the documented limb, the withdrawal channel, both names, the commission estimate and the sentence saying that estimate is the outlet's own and attributed to nobody. THE SOURCE DOES CARRY THE CLAUSE, opened at محفوظة في أرشيف المؤلف, so the prose was accurate and the removal is a judgement about risk and not a correction. The second is MIN-1139 at سجلّ عمل داخلي line 47, a third party's adverse characterisation of a living named individual, recast in its own pass under the same decision. D-164 part 4 recorded that legal review is deferred to production and that production is the author, so deferring defers to nobody; this row records that the two sentences were narrowed instead, and that the review remains DECLINED and undischarged as to permissions.
[CORRECTED 2 SEPTEMBER 2026 ON B-1 OF سجلّ عمل داخلي, AND THE STRUCK WORDS ARE QUOTED SO A PARTIAL READING CANNOT REINTRODUCE THEM. This cell opened TWO ATTRIBUTED ADVERSE CHARACTERISATIONS ARE RECAST OUT OF THE PROSE, AND THAT WAS TRUE OF ONE OF THEM ONLY AT THE MOMENT IT WAS WRITTEN. The Chapter 6 clause is recast at سجلّ عمل داخلي line 165. The Chapter 2 clause, MIN-1139 at سجلّ عمل داخلي line 47, was AUTHORISED at D-166 decision 3 and HAD NOT BEEN RECAST: line 47 of the approved version still carried the words embodied the regime-led mafia-style process of privatization, and no later version of that chapter existed. THE DEFECT IS THE ONE THIS PROJECT'S THIRD RULE IS WRITTEN AGAINST, an unchecked field presented in the same form as a checked one, and it is the third such correction this cell carries. A version carrying the Chapter 2 recast is named in this cell when it exists, and not before.]
[THE UNDERTAKING IS HONOURED, 2 SEPTEMBER 2026, ON H-1 AND H-2 OF سجلّ عمل داخلي. That review returned PASS with no blocking finding and made two findings about this cell. THE VERSION NOW EXISTS AND IS NAMED: the Chapter 2 clause, MIN-1139, the quoted adverse characterisation formerly at سجلّ عمل داخلي line 47, IS RECAST AT مسودة من الكتاب LINE 47, verified at that review, and مسودة من الكتاب row 2 moved to that version the same day under D-167. The Chapter 6 clause is recast at مسودة من الكتاب line 165, verified at سجلّ عمل داخلي, and row 6 moved the same day. AND THE HEADLINE IS NOW TRUE OF THE BOOK AND NOT ONLY OF THE CANDIDATES, WHICH IT WAS NOT WHEN WRITTEN: سجلّ عمل داخلي was rebuilt after both rows moved and returns zero occurrences of mafia-style process of privatization and zero of longstanding ties to the former Assad, where before the move it printed both. H-2 was right that a reader of this cell would otherwise have concluded the book no longer contained either sentence while the assembled book still contained both. NO MEDIA-LAW READ WAS OBTAINED AND THIS ROW STAYS DECLINED AND UNDISCHARGED AS TO PERMISSIONS.]
AMENDED 4 SEPTEMBER 2026 ON THE v26 DIFF REVIEW. The first of the two counter-examples above is gone: introduction v26 removed the Douma teachers at line 69 under D-182 decision 3, and SRC-074's Claims field is cleared. The struck wording remains false on the surviving ground, the author's brother Hasan at introduction line 59. The manuscript now names no private individual other than him.
