Measure and scope
GSIR 2022 covered 58 per cent of the investable market on self-disclosed surveys of asset managers and asset owners including segregated mandates. GSIR 2024 covers 30 per cent on Morningstar's reading of legal fund disclosures, collective investment funds only. The Alliance calls this a 50 per cent reduction in scope. On the same Morningstar approach the figure rose 49 per cent over two years
Known conflict
Chapter 1 v2 and v3 stated that nobody can say what share of the movement is method and what share is the world, because the bases do not permit the subtraction. The Alliance answers that question directly and the sentence was wrong

Action
State that the headline halved while the measured quantity grew by half. Never present 3.5 trillion of assets and 3.5 billion of quarterly flows in one sentence without units || ROUTING CORRECTED 31 August 2026 at M2 of the Chapter 12 v7 diff review, which found this row carrying the identical gap the v7 pass had just fixed in FINANCE-001, in the row governing the paragraph that pass rewrote. Chapter 12 relies on this claim throughout its pool-of-capital correction. THE ACTION IS UNCHANGED AND IS NOT WITHDRAWN.
