READ IN FULL 17 August 2026, it being short. It revokes the gold, precious metals and diamonds and the luxury goods trade prohibitions at regulations 42 to 46, omits regulation 27(6) and with it the 'Governing Authority of Syria' definition that had named the Central Bank of Syria, and substitutes 'the Government of Syria' for interception and monitoring services only. Signed by Stephen Doughty, Minister of State, FCDO. The instrument records that it was printed to correct errors in SI 2020/590 and SI 2025/507 and issued free of charge to recipients of those instruments, which is a correction notice on the face of the current UK instrument and worth the chapter's attention.
