Version history
The register keeps changing after the book is fixed in print. Each entry below was added to this row in the order shown.
[SUPERSEDED THE SAME DAY, and kept because a record that no longer shows its earlier state cannot be audited] Retrieved 17 August 2026 and not at that moment opened. Reading owed, not a gap. The Council press release at SRC-180 says seven entities were removed INCLUDING THE MINISTRIES OF DEFENCE AND INTERIOR; that is the press release's account and the annex here is the instrument. NOTHING MAY BE WRITTEN ABOUT WHICH ENTITIES WERE DELISTED UNTIL THIS IS READ.
READ 17 August 2026 at its recitals, articles and the whole of its Annex. RECITAL 2: the entries for SEVEN ENTITIES are deleted and the entries for 11 NATURAL PERSONS are updated and amended. In force the day after publication, so 20 May 2026, signed K. Kallas. THE ANNEX NAMES ALL SEVEN AND THE PRESS RELEASE AT SRC-180 NAMED TWO. Section B, Entities, entries deleted: 5. Political Security Directorate; 6. General Intelligence Directorate; 7. Military Intelligence Directorate; 8. Air Force Intelligence Agency; 42. Ministry of Defence; 43. Ministry of Interior; 60. Higher Institute for Applied Sciences and Technology. SO FOUR OF THE SEVEN ARE THE ASSAD-ERA INTELLIGENCE DIRECTORATES, which the Council press release did not name and which any prose about this delisting must not omit. THE ELEVEN AMENDED PERSONS are entries 18, 48, 51, 234, 287, 291, 295, 342, 350, 355 and 358, among them Mohammed Hamcho, Samir Hassan and Firas al-Akhras, and their listing reasons are restated in the past tense of the former regime. CHARACTERISATION IS RESERVED. What a delisting of the four directorates means politically is a contested Syrian interpretation and belongs to the author under CLAUDE.md's human-only decisions, not to this process. The row records the instrument.
