GATE ITEM G1, AND IT RESOLVES FIGURES F-06 RATHER THAN MERELY RECORDING IT. THE PROBLEM: Chapter 7 v1 attributes 'nearly 6,700 training companies and more than 3,600 non-training companies' to SRC-269, the report itself, WHICH DOES NOT CONTAIN EITHER STRING and says 'more than 6,600 training companies'. THE RESOLUTION, VERBATIM FROM THIS PAGE: 'The results of the online survey include responses from almost 6,700 training companies and more than 3,600 non-training companies for the 2022/23 training year.' SO BOTH NUMBERS ARE REAL AND THEY COME FROM DIFFERENT PUBLICATIONS OF THE SAME BODY. The earlier book's figures are the summary page's; the report prints more than 6,600. SRC-269 already warned to 'cite one or the other and not both as though they were the same number', and the chapter must now attribute the response counts to THIS PAGE and not to the report. The 3,600 non-training figure appears only here of the two.
