  1. READ AT THE ARCHIVED DOCUMENT 7 SEPTEMBER 2026, NOT AT A SUMMARY OF IT. The Board approved the restoration of Syria's membership at its meeting of 16 March 2025, on a request conveyed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates to the President of the Bank. It follows Syria's reinstatement to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on 8 March 2025 after a thirteen-year suspension. Syria joined the IsDB in September 1975. THE FIGURE PARAGRAPH, VERBATIM: 'By December 2024, the Bank's total interventions in Syria amounted to approximately US$632 million, which includes US$415.5 million in project financing from the IsDB, US$68.5 million in private sector support, and US$111.1 million from other IsDB-affiliated funds. Additionally, trade finance operations totaled US$37 million, and the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit provided US$277.5 million in investment and export credit insurance.' THE COMPONENTS DO NOT RECONCILE AND THE CONNECTIVE IS WHY. 415.5 + 68.5 + 111.1 = 595.1, which is 36.9 SHORT of the stated 632. The 37 introduced by 'Additionally' closes that gap exactly, so it is arithmetically INSIDE the total the word places outside it. ICIEC's 277.5, governed by the same 'Additionally', cannot be inside, because five components would total 909.6. ONE CONNECTIVE GOVERNS TWO FIGURES AND IS WRONG ABOUT ONE. IT IS A PRESS RELEASE, TIER 5, and it is the institution reporting itself; the underlying accounts were not retrieved.
