Snapshot
Five paths tried 7 September 2026 in this process's AQ-73 sweep; ten routes tried the same day in the Chapter 3 Arabic work
The register keeps changing after the book is fixed in print. Each entry below was added to this row in the order shown.
TWO RECORDS OF ONE HOST ON ONE DAY, AND THEY DO NOT AGREE. CLAUDE.md REQUIRES THAT A CONFLICT BE NAMED AND NOT SILENTLY RESOLVED, SO THIS ROW NAMES IT. RECORD ONE, this process's AQ-73 sweep of 7 September 2026: five paths requested at amf.org.ae, TWO OF THEM DELIBERATELY IMPOSSIBLE (/en/this-path-cannot-exist-aq73 and /en/zzzz-nonsense-9f3a), ALL FIVE RETURNING HTTP 200 at 945, 948, 949, 951 and 957 bytes, each yielding about 83 characters of text. On that record the host answers every path with the same shell and cannot be searched by plain retrieval. RECORD TWO, AQ-74, raised the same day from the Chapter 3 Arabic re-read and recorded at SRC-070: 'amf.org.ae returns 403 to this network for its own root, SO THE BLOCK IS SITE-WIDE', across ten routes, with the assessment that the site 'is very likely reachable from an ordinary browser on an ordinary connection; the block appears to be a WAF rule against this environment'. HTTP 200 SHELLS AND A SITE-WIDE 403 ARE NOT THE SAME OBSERVATION AND ONE OF THE TWO IS WRONG, or the host's behaviour varied between the two runs, which is itself a fact about the host. WHAT FOLLOWS FOR PROSE. NO SENTENCE MAY STATE A PROPERTY OF THE WEBSITE. The most that is supportable is that the site did not answer plain retrieval from here on 7 September 2026. 'Cannot be searched at all' is barred both by this conflict and by CLAUDE.md's rule against cannot where the evidence establishes only failure from one environment. THAT ERROR IS B8 OF THE CHAPTER 10 v24 DIFF REVIEW. RESOLUTION OWED: one run with the two records' methods side by side, recording headers, timing and status for each; the difference is likely the request headers or the WAF's rate state, and neither record captured the other's.
RECONCILIATION RUN 7 September 2026 AND THE CONFLICT IS NARROWED, NOT CLOSED. Seven probes from this process, all HTTP 200 AT 212 BYTES: www root, www /en, an impossible path under www, root and /en with bare python-urllib headers, and the apex without www at root and /en. SO THE HOST ANSWERS EVERY PATH INCLUDING AN IMPOSSIBLE ONE, under two different header sets and on both hostnames, and it did not reproduce AQ-74's site-wide 403 on any of them. NOTE ALSO THAT THE PAYLOAD SIZE MOVED WITHIN THE DAY: the earlier AQ-73 sweep recorded 945 to 957 bytes and this run records 212, so the shell itself is not stable. WHAT THIS SETTLES: neither observation is a property of the website. A 200-shell and a 403 are both properties of a method-and-host interaction, and the two records used different fetchers with different egress. WHAT IT DOES NOT SETTLE: which egress AQ-74 used, since that record did not capture headers or timing. THE PROSE CONSEQUENCE IS UNCHANGED AND FIRMER: no sentence may state a property of the website, and 'cannot be searched at all' is barred.
