The register keeps changing after the book is fixed in print. Each entry below was added to this row in the order shown.

  1. RETRIEVED 7 SEPTEMBER 2026 (AQ-73 retrieval log, B9) AND RE-OPENED 11 SEPTEMBER 2026. Page 5, 'LATEST FIGURES COMPARED TO PREVIOUS ESTIMATES': 'Compared to the capacity statistics published in July 2025, the 2024 figures here have been revised slightly upwards. Total renewable capacity in 2024 was previously reported as 4 443 GW but has now been revised to 4 457 GW (+0.3%). As noted in previous years, most revisions can be attributed to imprecise early reporting of capacity and, in some cases, by the unavailability of data to year-end [...] Furthermore, the IRENA Energy taxonomy is currently being implemented in the statistics knowledge products, leading to the reclassification of technologies and the introduction of new ones.' Zero occurrences of Syria, flag, official, questionnaire. AUTHOR CALCULATION, LABELLED: Syria's 2024 total solar moved +1 546 MW between July 2025 and March 2026, about a tenth of the +14 GW net global revision this note reports; net hides gross. The March 2025 predecessor (research/AQ73_B9_irena_methodology/IRENA_RE_Capacity_Highlights_2025_Mar_2026-09-11.pdf, page 4) uses the same formula for a −1 GW revision of 2023. The July 2025 and July 2026 highlights (same folder) report −5.3 GW to 2024 and +6 GW to 2025 respectively with the same generality and no country.
