Measure and scope
Table 10 restates every previous study to December 2024 values, by footnote 5 using CPI and exchange-rate adjustments. UNDP 2025 physical damage goes from 123 in 2010 constant prices to 117 adjusted. UNESCWA 2020 goes from 118 to 112. The World Bank's own figure is 108. So adjusted, the three sit within about 8 per cent, closer than the unadjusted comparison and not further away
Known conflict
My error was assuming a United States CPI uplift from 2010 to 2024 would raise the figure. The Bank's adjustment combines CPI with exchange-rate effects, and against a collapsed Syrian pound the net movement is downward. I reasoned about the direction of an adjustment instead of opening the annex that had performed it

Action
Do not print the reversed claim. Chapter 1 v2 states the Bank's own adjusted figures and attributes the adjustment to the Bank
