Source
SRC-582 (SANA, 13 September 2026); SRC-585 (Syria TV, 13 September 2026) for the prior prices || 16 September 2026 (ARTICLE_FUEL_effects_on_book_2026-09-14.md item 1): THE PRIOR PRICE FOR BENZINE 90 IN THIS ROW IS THE WRONG BULLETIN'S. Syria TV's 142 (SRC-585) is SANA's 28 July 2026 figure; the bulletin in force from 4 September 2026 put benzine 90 at 147, on Ultra Syria of 4 September 2026 and Verify-Sy of 13 September 2026 as the article session opened them (research/ARTICLE_FUEL_2026-09/SOURCES_OPENED_2026-09-14.md B3 and B5; their addresses were not logged and the pages are not saved), so the 13 September rise for benzine 90 is from 147, not 142. Diesel (125), benzine 95 (152) and the two cylinders (1,470 and 2,350) agree across the three. SANA's own 4 September bulletin was not opened; that route is open and untried. Chapter 8 prints diesel only, so no prose moves; Syria TV's 142 is not to be reused.

Measure and scope
Pump prices in new Syrian pounds per litre and per cylinder, national, effective 13 September 2026, described by the committee as temporary. The percentage rises are this book's arithmetic on the broadcaster's prior figures. || The 'percentage rises' this row's arithmetic gives for benzine 90 would be against 147 (about 26 per cent, as Verify-Sy also computes), not 142; the diesel forty per cent Chapter 8 prints is unaffected (16 September 2026).
Known conflict
The stated reason (world cost rise and Banias refinery maintenance) is reported second-hand and the ministry's statement is not opened; Decision 844's text is not opened. Whether any compensating transfer accompanies the rise is not established either way, which is the question Chapter 8 line 123 already poses. || AMENDED 14 September 2026 (ARTICLE_FUEL_basis_2026-09-14.md): the ministry's stated reason is now opened at SANA 2579301 (13 September 2026, 01:17) and SANA 2580098 (23:28): an exceptional rise in the world cost of securing products, coinciding with a two-month overhaul at Banias; the ministry gives diesel near 1,400 dollars a tonne and Brent 'around 100' in the first report and 'about 108 at the week's opening' in the second. Decision 844's own text has not been retrieved; the route left is the part-one Gazette issues of late June and July, or the ministry's Telegram channel. The intermediate bulletins are recorded at research/ARTICLE_FUEL_2026-09/SOURCES_OPENED_2026-09-14.md: 107 on 27 June (SANA 2512821), 121 on 24 July (ANHA), 120 on 28 July (SANA 2538933), 125 on 4 September (secondary). Not printed in any chapter; the article carries them.

Action
PRINTED 13 September 2026 at Chapter 8 v40 line 123 on the author's decision (AUTHOR_QUEUE.md AQ-78): one dated sentence after the sentence on compensating transfers, class 2 on its own basis (audits/reports/fuel001_basis_2026-09-13.md), naming the committee, Decision 844, the 13 September bulletin as temporary, diesel at 175 against the broadcaster's 125 (SRC-585), the forty per cent as the book's division, and that no compensating instrument is reported with it. Status stays QUALIFIED: the ministry's statement and Decision 844's text remain unopened. Earlier: Opened 13 September 2026 on the author's news. Not in prose. If the author wants it printed, one dated sentence at Chapter 8 line 123 after the liberalisation sentence, in a later pass: the committee, its decision, the 13 September bulletin, the forty per cent diesel rise on the broadcaster's prior figure, and that no compensating instrument is reported with it.
