SUPPLIED BY THE AUTHOR AS NEWS ON 13 SEPTEMBER 2026 (an ANHA link) AND OPENED AT THE PRIMARY REPORTING. WHAT IT ESTABLISHES: that on Saturday 12 September 2026 the permanent pricing committee issued a temporary bulletin effective 00:00 on Sunday 13 September: benzine 95 at 195 pounds a litre, benzine 90 at 185, diesel at 175, household gas cylinder 1,600, industrial cylinder 2,560, fuel oil 52,800 a tonne, aviation kerosene 4,770 dollars a gallon; and that the committee was formed by the energy minister's Decision 844 of 23 June 2026, chaired by the deputy minister for oil affairs with the finance, economy and industry ministries and the Central Bank represented, its remit to study prices in the light of world prices, costs, the exchange rate and 'آليات الدعم', support mechanisms. THE PRIOR PRICES ARE NOT IN THIS REPORT: Syria TV of 13 September 2026 gives them as 152, 142 and 125 for the three fuels and 1,470 and 2,350 for the cylinders, so diesel rose forty per cent overnight and petrol 95 twenty-eight per cent; those are the broadcaster's figures and not the committee's. THE REASON IS NOT IN THIS REPORT EITHER: the word 'مؤقتة' is the committee's; the explanation reported elsewhere (a rise in world costs coinciding with maintenance at the Banias refinery) is Enab Baladi's account of a ministry statement, not opened (HTTP 403 to this process). NOTHING HERE STATES A PRICE FORMULA OR A COMPENSATING TRANSFER. Decision 844 itself is not opened; a route this process could run is the Gazette for a June 2026 issue, which this book holds to issue 32. Not yet in prose: recorded for Chapter 8 line 123 and put to the author.
NOTE (FUEL001 review F6): SANA's price lines for benzine and diesel carry 'ل.س' and no unit; the litre is implicit beside the per-ton and per-gallon entries and explicit in Syria TV (SRC-585), as is the new pound.
