Version history
The register keeps changing after the book is fixed in print. Each entry below was added to this row in the order shown.
CORRECTED 15 AUGUST 2026, AND THE EARLIER NOTE CAUSED AN ERROR IN AN APPROVED CHAPTER. Both pages were rendered at 170 dpi to research/DSBB_pages/ and read at the table. The columns are Periodicity [e-GDDS | SYR] and Timeliness [e-GDDS | SYR]. FIVE CATEGORIES HAVE BOTH SYRIAN COLUMNS EMPTY, and FOUR OF THEM ARE THE DEBT AND RESERVES BLOCK the argument turns on. The fifth is Taxes On Fossil Fuels, under Demographic and Selected Socio-Economic Indicators on page 2, which is not part of that argument and should not be added to it. Corrected again on 15 August 2026: this note said three, then four, and the page says five in total. The four are: External Debt (e-GDDS Q, 2Q); Official Reserve Assets (M, 1M); Public External Debt Owed To Official Bilateral Creditors (Q, 2Q); and, on page 2, PUBLIC EXTERNAL DEBT OWED TO MULTILATERAL CREDITORS (Q, 2Q). The earlier note recorded three and omitted multilateral. CONSEQUENCE, STATED BECAUSE IT IS SERIOUS. The introduction printed all four at v13. The v14 correction pass cut 'and multilateral' as a register-scope widening, on the authority of this note rather than the document. The note was wrong and the manuscript was right. Introduction v16 is APPROVED and now UNDERSTATES the finding by one category. This is the failure the project's own rule names: an assertion that the manuscript is wrong requires opening the document, not reasoning from a register row. A partial to note separately: Central Government Gross Debt gives a Syrian periodicity of A and leaves the Syrian timeliness blank, so it is not a full blank and does not join the four. The counter-examples hold: CPI is M/1M against a recommended M/2M, so faster than asked; employment, unemployment and wages are Q against a recommended A. AS-OF DATE: the page carries no date on its face, so any date must come from the retrieval and be stated as such.
WORKS_CITED: merged into SRC-138
P-05, 3 September 2026, basis audits/reports/register_hygiene_P05_2026-09-03_basis.md. A FIFTH DUPLICATE PAIR, FOUND BY THE GENERATOR DUPLICATE-STEM CHECK AND NOT BY THE EXTERNAL REVIEW, which named four. Both rows are the IMF Dissemination Standards Bulletin Board page for the Syrian Arab Republic and both point at the same held PDF, research/Syria's current DSBB status.pdf. SRC-138 SURVIVES because it also holds the two page renders. THIS ROW STOPS PRINTING AND KEEPS EVERYTHING ELSE: its Citation, its holdings and its evidence all stand, and it remains the record of what was read and when.
