LAW NO. 42 OF 2018, ISSUED 11 NOVEMBER 2018, AMENDS BOTH LAW 10 OF 2018 AND LEGISLATIVE DECREE 66 OF 2012. IT EXTENDS THE CLAIM PERIOD FROM THIRTY DAYS TO ONE CALENDAR YEAR. VERBATIM: 'على هؤلاء وكل من له علاقة بعقارات المنطقة التنظيمية أصالة أو وصاية أو وكالة أن يتقدم إلى الوحدة الإدارية خلال سنة ميلادية واحدة من تاريخ الإعلان'. Rendered: those concerned, and anyone with a relation to properties in the regulatory zone whether in their own right, as guardian or as agent, must come forward to the administrative unit within one calendar year from the date of the announcement. ALSO: claims by relatives to the fourth degree and by legal representatives, and official land registry records as the basis for dispute resolution committee decisions. THIS IS THE CHAPTER'S OPENING IF IT WANTS ONE. The provision most often quoted about Law 10 is its thirty-day window, and it has been a year since November 2018. The most cited source, SRC-095, predates the amendment by five months and is still linked as current.
