COMPLETES THE THROUGHPUT HALF OF RETRIEVAL 6, WHICH SRC-024 COULD NOT ANSWER. THE ROUTE, RECORDED BECAUSE IT IS THE THIRD OF ITS KIND THIS WEEK: dtm.iom.int RETURNS 403 to curl with a browser user-agent AND to the harness fetcher, on both the report page and the download endpoint. RELIEFWEB MIRRORS THE SAME REPORT AND RETURNS 200, and its attachment link serves the PDF. So a 403 from the publisher was again not the end of the route. The ReliefWeb v1 API is decommissioned and returns 410; v2 returned nothing to the queries tried; the attachment URL was taken from the report page's own markup. The four lines sum to the printed total exactly. AND IT CORROBORATES SRC-024 FROM A SECOND AGENCY. UNHCR records that Syria's General Authority for Borders and Customs opened the Jisr Qamar crossing on 4 May 2026; DTM's table carries Jisr Al-Qamar with 6,020 movements over a period beginning 2 March, which is consistent with a crossing that opened part-way through. Two agencies, one crossing, and the spelling differs between them: Jisr Qamar in UNHCR, Jisr Al-Qamar in DTM. OTHER FIGURES: 122,572 arrivals recorded across 1,202 locations in all 14 governorates between 2 March and 22 June; peak arrivals of 153,087 individuals on 27 April 2026, after which about 30,515 Syrian and Lebanese nationals returned to Lebanon following the ceasefire declared 17 April 2026; 2,694 Lebanese nationals recorded transiting Syria towards Jordan. Priority needs reported: multi-purpose cash 93 per cent, food 62 per cent, non-food items 53 per cent, shelter 41 per cent. THE LIMITATION IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THE DOCUMENT AND IT IS PRINTED ON ITS FACE, VERBATIM: 'These figures do not capture regular or routine mobility between Lebanon and the Syrian Arab Republic, including daily commuting, short-term travel, trade and commercial transport flows, or pre-existing circular migration patterns. Data collected through the four official Points of Entry (PoEs), including the Jdeidat Yabous/Masnaa crossing, are therefore selective and event-based, focusing only on movements linked to the crisis context. As such, the figures should be interpreted as indicative of displacement dynamics and humanitarian pressure, rather than as a measure of total cross-border traffic or overall mobility between the two countries.' SO THE RETRIEVAL GATE ASKED FOR CROSSING THROUGHPUT AND THE ANSWER IS THAT NOBODY PUBLISHES IT HERE. What exists is crisis-linked flow monitoring at four Syrian-Lebanese points of entry, which the publisher says in terms is not a measure of total traffic. WHAT PROSE MAY SAY: that 464,562 crisis-linked movements into Syria were recorded at four Syrian-Lebanese crossings between 2 March and 22 June 2026, with the per-crossing split above, AND THAT THE FIGURE EXCLUDES COMMUTING, TRADE AND COMMERCIAL TRANSPORT BY THE PUBLISHER'S OWN STATEMENT. WHAT PROSE MAY NOT SAY: that this is the traffic across those crossings; that it covers Syria's borders with Turkiye, Iraq or Jordan, which this monitoring does not cover; or that it measures freight or logistics capacity, which no document retrieved for this chapter does. ROUTES NOT TAKEN: Round 18 of 27 July 2026 is the latest and its DTM page returns 403; a ReliefWeb mirror of that round has not been located.
