RETRIEVED AND READ IN FULL, 22 AUGUST 2026, retrieval D3. IT RESOLVES CONFLICT 8.3 OF THE CHAPTER 8 GATE BY GOING BEHIND BOTH SECONDARY ACCOUNTS. THE MINISTER'S OWN WORDS ON THE DATE: 'We completed the pipeline connection from Kilis to Aleppo as of 21 May. Testing and installation of additional equipment are ongoing. We will begin exporting natural gas in June.' So the CONNECTION was completed 21 May 2025 and EXPORTS were expected in June. THE VOLUME, AND IT IS THE ORIGIN OF THE 5.5 FIGURE: 'Turkiye's natural gas exports to Syria could reach 2 billion cubic meters annually, with initial deliveries going to Aleppo before expanding to Homs.' TWO BILLION CUBIC METRES A YEAR IS 5.48 MILLION A DAY, which is Karam Shaar Advisory's 5.5 million cmd at SRC-312 arrived at by division. THE SOURCE MANUSCRIPT'S FIGURES ARE NEITHER OF THESE. Source Chapter 7 line 2173 says the line 'opened on 2 August 2025 with a capacity of up to 6 million cubic metres a day'. The 6 million is not this minister's figure and is not KSA's; the 2 August date is neither the completion date nor the stated export start. Both need their own source before printing, and 'could reach' is a ceiling on an annual figure rather than a line capacity. THE ELECTRICITY CONSEQUENCE, IN THE MINISTER'S WORDS: the gas 'would be used to power local electricity generation, boosting output by an estimated 1,200 to 1,300 megawatts potentially doubling Syria's current production', and 'This would mean extending electricity supply from a few hours a day to eight, ten, or even 12 hours at least half the day with uninterrupted service.' A SEPARATE AND DIFFERENT COMMITMENT IN THE SAME INTERVIEW, WHICH MUST NOT BE CONFLATED WITH THE GAS: he 'outlined plans to triple electricity exports to northern Syria, aiming to raise the capacity to nearly 1,000 megawatts'. That is direct electricity export, not gas for generation. ALSO ON THE FACE, AND IT IS A FOURTH PRE-WAR OIL FIGURE: the minister puts 'Syria's pre-war oil production of 300,000-400,000 barrels per day', against the manuscript's roughly 380,000 and its 582,300 peak in 1996. EVERYTHING HERE IS A MINISTER'S FORWARD STATEMENT REPORTED BY HIS OWN COUNTRY'S STATE AGENCY, and is evidence that the statement was made.
