Version history

The register keeps changing after the book is fixed in print. Each entry below was added to this row in the order shown.

  1. "[quotation withheld, 26 words; follow the citation]""[quotation withheld, 6 words; follow the citation]""[quotation withheld, 49 words; follow the citation]""[quotation withheld, 10 words; follow the citation]"". VERBATIM: ""[quotation withheld, 51 words; follow the citation]""[quotation withheld, 161 words; follow the citation]"
  2. D-304/D-307 series corrections (09), 18 October 2026: READING OF 18 OCTOBER 2026 (D-307, OO-9). The Council's current revision is Rev. 22, June 2026 (SRC-789), read on 16 October 2026 and re-read on 18 October 2026, after the closing date; its clause 2.1.1.2 is word for word the clause quoted above. Chapter 9 v40 l.105 now quotes the definition in full, including the 'and/or the physico-chemical and organoleptic characteristics' limb that v39's paraphrase dropped, names this revision (the twentieth, November 2024) as the one it quotes, and states that the twenty-second carries the same clause.
  3. 19 October 2026 (closing pass 2, lift sweep): the closing date is now 18 October 2026 (D-315). Each 'after the closing date' above is true of the closing date in force when it was written (17 or 28 September 2026); a reading this row dates on or before 18 October 2026 is now an ordinary dated reading and no prose carries the closing-date label for it (the corrected texts of the D-315 pass were searched for 'closing date' on 19 October 2026: only the copyright page l.13 and the evidence note l.25 carry it, both stating the new date).
