Version history

The register keeps changing after the book is fixed in print. Each entry below was added to this row in the order shown.

  1. READ 24 September 2026, the whole article (datePublished 2025-10-28T07:33:58Z, JSON-LD). André Lahoud, the bank's chief executive, to Asharq at the Saudi-Syrian round table in Riyadh 'yesterday': the bank held several meetings with the Saudi investment ministry, [quotation withheld, 42 words; follow the citation]. So the original separates the two dates the secondary reports disagree on: work resumed from June 2025; the first transfer, to Banque Saudi Fransi, about two weeks before 28 October 2025. It also reports that the bank is building relationships with other Saudi banks, that current discussions centre on transfers, and that the ambition 'extends to' letters of credit for import financing and digital services. It does not say the account carried commercial transfers after October 2025, or on any later date. The standfirst: [quotation withheld, 11 words; follow the citation]. The article gives Banque Saudi Fransi as [quotation withheld, 6 words; follow the citation], the Lebanese Bemo bank, not the Syrian bank.
  2. WORKS_CITED hold lifted on approval (D-224), formerly held until AQ-83 (24 September 2026). Cited by the AQ-83 pass, not yet approved; that pass removes this marker.
  3. AQ-83 REMEDIATION, 24 September 2026 (B-9): read after this book's closing date of 17 September 2026 and printed with its date, within the AQ-81 and AQ-83 exception to the closing date (D-220 item 5, D-221 item 2); whether that counts as a seventh dated exception is the author's. Tier moved from 4 to 3: this is the original that the tier 3 reports at SRC-661 reprint.
  4. D-224 item 2, 24 September 2026: a seventh dated exception to the closing date of 17 September 2026; read on 24 September 2026 and printed with its date at Chapter 6 line 293.
  5. 19 October 2026 (closing pass 2, lift sweep): the closing date is now 18 October 2026 (D-315). Each 'after the closing date' above is true of the closing date in force when it was written (17 or 28 September 2026); a reading this row dates on or before 18 October 2026 is now an ordinary dated reading and no prose carries the closing-date label for it (the corrected texts of the D-315 pass were searched for 'closing date' on 19 October 2026: only the copyright page l.13 and the evidence note l.25 carry it, both stating the new date).
