Version history

The register keeps changing after the book is fixed in print. Each entry below was added to this row in the order shown.

  1. READ 7 OCTOBER 2026, AFTER THE BOOK'S CLOSING DATE (the sixteenth dated exception, D-299); Chapter 1 v62 line 87 says so. PDF p. 6: 'The accumulated total economic loss till the end of 2015 is estimated at USD 254.7 billion.' PDF p. 30, Table 2, 'Total economic losses in billions of USD (at current prices)': total 254.7; GDP loss 163.3; capital stock damaged 67.3; official military expenditure increase 14.5; armed groups' military expenditure 6.0. PDF p. 31: 'a total estimated economic loss of SYP 6,483 billion at 2000 constant prices ... In current prices by the end of 2015, the total economic loss is estimated at USD 254.7 billion'. THE DOLLAR TOTAL IS IN CURRENT PRICES; the constant-price measure is in Syrian pounds at 2000 prices. The World Bank's Annex 2 (SRC-057, PDF p. 51) records the same report as 'SCPR (2015)' at 255 in 'constant price 2010', with components 165 and 54.3 that differ from SCPR's own 163.3 and 67.3. Check: audits/reports/scpr_255_check_2026-10-07.md.
  2. AMENDED 7 OCTOBER 2026 on H-1 and M-3 of audits/reports/scpr_255_2026-10-07/DIFF_REVIEW.md: Claims no longer cites a claim ID that exists nowhere (it names the chapter line and the inventory rows). TWO OF THE QUARTERS ARE PROJECTIONS: Table 2 marks 2015 Q3 and Q4 (13.9 and 14.0) with an asterisk, and the note under it reads '*Projections' (PDF p. 30), so the 254.7 to the end of 2015 includes two projected quarters. Chapter 1 reports the total as SCPR states it.
