A PROJECTION AND NOT AN ENUMERATION: Syria's last census of population and housing was 2004 at CH1-013, so the projection carries forward a base more than twenty years old and its own uncertainty is not published in the file this book holds
Known conflict
The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs' 2026 planning figure is close to the 2025 projection and about 850,000 below the 2026 projection, so a figure labelled for 2026 carries a 2025 quantity. WHETHER THE PLANNING FIGURE WAS BUILT FROM THE PROJECTION IS NOT ESTABLISHED and SRC-056 bars this book from answering it without the humanitarian plan, which is held only as a two-page extract
