RETRIEVED AND READ 22 AUGUST 2026, retrieval D4. IT QUANTIFIES THE QATAR ARRANGEMENT THAT THE FUNDER'S OWN PAGE AT SRC-330 LEAVES UNPRICED, AND IT RECORDS THAT THE ARRANGEMENT ENDED. Verbatim: gas was 'transported through the AGP to the Deir Ali subsection of the pipeline in southern Damascus, supporting the generation of roughly 400 MWh of electricity per day at the Deir Ali power plant. Jordanian Energy Minister Saleh al-Kharabsheh announced that the initiative was fully funded by the Qatar Fund for Development. THE SCHEME ENDED WHEN THE GRANT, ESTIMATED AT USD 63.75 MILLION, EXPIRED, after which Qatar shifted support to the Kilis-Aleppo route.' THREE CONSEQUENCES. The value is USD 63.75 million and it is an estimate, not a disclosed grant figure. The unit at Deir Ali is 400 MWh PER DAY here and 400 MEGAWATTS on the Qatar Fund page at SRC-330; those are different quantities and the register must not treat them as one. And the arrangement is in a TERMINAL STATE, which no register row records; a transaction row for it must open at that state rather than at the funder's present tense. GAS RESERVES, AND THEY DO NOT AGREE WITH THE FIGURE THE MANUSCRIPT USES: 'The last official assessment in 2011 put reserves at 285 billion cubic meters (BCM), but WE ESTIMATE that production since then has reduced remaining onshore proven reserves to about 231 BCM. Over the same period, offshore potential was estimated at roughly 170 BCM.' The manuscript prints 8.5 trillion cubic feet from the United States Energy Information Administration, frozen since 2011 to 2015. 285 BCM is about 10.1 trillion cubic feet and 231 BCM about 8.2. So there are at least three reserve figures and one of them is the analyst's own calculation, expressly flagged 'we estimate'. THE PRODUCTION SERIES, WHICH CORROBORATES SRC-323: peak 'approximately 30 million cubic meters per day (MMCM/D) in 2011', of which 'about 9% of the gross production was flared, vented, or re-injected'; 'By 2024, production had fallen sharply to around 7.4 MMCM/D, while fields under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in northeast Syria produced roughly an additional 1 MMCM/D.' So this publication uses 7.4 for 2024 as well, consistent with issue 10's attribution of that figure to the Energy Institute, and it gives the SDF increment as about 1 rather than 1.1. AND THE DEMAND SPLIT: 'Figures from 2023 indicate that more than half the total gas supply was used for electricity generation.' Two minor discoveries are named and priced at nothing: Deir Atiyah in 2019 'yielding only 500 cubic meters', and Zamlat al-Mohr in 2022 'for which no reserve figures were released'.
