IRENA revised the same series between consecutive editions: off-grid solar for 2024 was 2 MW in Renewable Capacity Statistics 2025 and 1,500 MW in the 2026 edition, a factor of 750; total solar for 2024 moved from 60 to 1,606 MW. The 2022 and 2023 values moved likewise. IRENA's own Syria country profile, last updated on its own face on 22 September 2025, still carries 60 MW. Print only with the as-of year, the publisher, and the fact that every Syrian value carries IRENA's flag 'o' for figures obtained from official sources rather than estimated by IRENA. Never print 2,060 MW as generating capacity or as dispatchable; it is off-grid installed capacity and does not enter the grid supply mix, which is why the World Bank puts intermittent renewables at 0.4 per cent of supply in 2024. It is FALSE of the 2025 edition, where the Syrian row at research/SRC-E1e_pages/p065.png reads 2.000, 2.000, 2.000 with NO FLAG LETTER AT ALL while every other Middle East row carries one. The permitted form names the edition and the table. AND THE MEASURE IS OFF-GRID CAPACITY, NOT ROOFTOP OR HOUSEHOLD CAPACITY: IRENA publishes no rooftop or household series for Syria, so any sentence dividing the 2,060 by a household system size states that it assumes the stock is substantially household systems, and states the direction of the error if it is not.
