Average daily hours of grid-supplied electricity, national, as at the appraisal of June 2025. The Bank's form is that available fuel supply 'is barely sufficient to run the system at 1800 MW; providing two to four hours of electricity per day, on average'
Known conflict
Four independent statements of the same quantity and they do not use one measure. The World Bank gives two to four hours in June 2025; Karam Shaar Advisory gives 'only a few hours'; The National gives 'at best about four hours' in July 2026; Enab Baladi reports daily supply not exceeding six hours in some areas in February 2026. The Century Foundation's Lebanese comparator counts the honest quantity differently again, as hours per day with no electricity from any source. The transitional government announced plans to reach 8 hours daily by end 2025 and 24 hours by 2030
