The physical capital destruction of US$123.3 billion is not a Development Programme assessment at all: annexe I-2 states it is ESCWA's 2020 estimate of US$117.7 billion, plus US$5.1 billion of 2023 earthquake damage estimated by the World Bank in its GRADE report, plus US$0.5 billion from localised battles estimated by the study team.
